Michael will be a cartoon character who will front the campaign to encourage households in Powys to recycle more of their household waste. He will also have his own website www.recyclewithmichael.co.uk where people can log on and find out how they can make a difference by recycling!
Your graphics will be used to launch the Recycle with Michael Campaign.Once created, Michael will appear on all the promotional literature sent out by the council.
The purpose of the logo is to provide a figurehead for the new Recycle with Michael scheme. This logo will be included on all literature and advertising for the new scheme so that people recognise him and are reminded how important recycling is. The main purpose is to raise awareness and promote the scheme as time goes on. There are specific requirments - the logo must look like a cartoon like logo, it must contain an image linked to recycling, it must contain the text Recycle with Michael, it must be vector graphic. Although the size has not been specified you should aim for around 400 pixels wide x 550 pixels high (around 4.2 inches wide x 5.7 inches high). The purpose of the advertisement is to promote the new Recycle with Michael scheme. This advertisement will be used in literature from the council, in the local press and will also be used as posters and on the council website. The main purpose will be to raise awareness of the scheme. It should give people information about the scheme and some information/statistics about recycling in general. There are specific requirments - the advert must look professional using a photographic image in the background, it must include other image(s) associated with recycling in the foreground, it needs to be a bitmap graphic, it must include the Recycle with Michael Logo, it must include text to give information about the campaign.
